Type 32 is a loose flange designed to be used together with a lap joint stub end. Thanks to its design, the flange is not fixed to the pipe and can rotate freely around the stub end, allowing easy installation and perfect alignment of the bolt holes. It is usually paired with Type 02.

Characteristics of Type 32:

• Loose flange, not welded directly to the pipe;
• Used in combination with a welded stub end;
• Easier alignment during installation;
• Available in different materials and PN ratings according to EN 1092-1;
• Quick assembly thanks to flange rotation;
• No stress on the piping, ideal for sensitive materials;
• Easy maintenance: the flange can be removed without intervening on the line.

Type 13B is a threaded flange.

Characteristics of Type 13:

• A threaded flange is a flange with a central bore featuring internal threading (usually cylindrical gas thread type ISO 7-1 or NPT), which allows it to be connected to pipes with male threads without the need for welding;
• Mainly used in systems where welding is not possible or not convenient;
• Quick installation;
• No welding required;
• Easy maintenance or replacement.

Type 11 is a welding neck flange (welding neck flange).

Characteristics of Type 11:

• It has a tapered neck and a central bore matching the pipe;
• It is designed to be butt welded to the pipe;
• Provides excellent mechanical performance and high sealing capability, ideal for high pressures and temperatures.

Type 02 is a loose or swivel flange (Loose plate flange with welding ring or collar).

Characteristics of Type 02:

• The flange is not welded directly to the pipe but is “loose” and held in place by a stub (collar or welded ring);
• Mainly used in systems where frequent maintenance or disassembly is required;
• Allows easy alignment of bolt holes;
• Typically used with plastic linings, stainless steel, or in systems where direct welding of the flange must be avoided.
