Type 05 Flange

Type 05 is a blind flange (i.e. a flange used to close the end of a pipe, blind flange).

Characteristics of Type 05:

  • No central bore (unlike flat or neck flanges);
  • Bolt holes arranged according to a specific pitch circle diameter (PCD);
  • Used to close or terminate a process line, a vessel, or a valve.
